Caroline Crosse
Caroline has worked in the field of rehabilitation and employment support for people with a mental illness for 25 years and was very involved in the introduction of the Clubhouse model of psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation to Australia.
Caroline was the co-founder of Social Firms Australia which commenced operations in 2005.
Dea Morgain
Dea Morgain is the Manager of the Workplace Supports Program at Social Firms Australia (SoFA). Dea has more than 20 years experience in working with disadvantaged people and nonprofit management. Dea has a BA and Graduate Diploma in Psychology as well as a Graduate Diploma in Employee Relations.
Susan Bowman
Susan’s background is in commercial finance having worked for many years for GE Commercial in a senior sales role, Standard and Poor's as a director for structured finance responsible for rating asset backed securitisation programmes in Australia, HK and Europe and prior to that Westpac Banking Corporation.
Susan joined Social Firms Australia in 2007 as a business development manager and brings with her a wealth of commercial experience and discipline and a strong commitment to the delivery of social firm model in Australia.
Caitlin McDowell
Caitlin has coordinated the LEAP project at SoFA since late 2009. She is an occupational therapist with a special interest in mental health and employment.
Anna Ferguson
Anna is an experienced administrator as well as having a counselling and alternative therapy background. She believes in supporting all individuals to be able to live a full and rich life.
Anne Miles
Anne is an Occupational Therapist and has worked in mental health for over 10 years. While living in San Francisco, Anne worked as the program director at CVE Inc – a social purpose enterprise - as well as completed her Masters in Occupational Therapy at California State University.
Ngaere Guyatt
As an occupational therapist, Ngaere draws on 12 years of experience in the mental health, neurological and vocational rehabilitation sectors. She has worked as a manager in the employment training sector, and has consulted to companies on organisational change.
Josie Tremain
Josie is passionate about making a difference to the lives of others. She has experience working in Human Resources and Administration, and is currently completing a Diploma of Transpersonal Counselling.
Margie Mackay
Margie is an artist and social activist who works at the intersection of community, performance art and ritual. She is passionate about human rights and has been part of the SoFA team since 2005 performing a variety of roles.
Terry Deacon
Terry holds degree qualifications in accounting and arts with a passionate interest in public health and social causes. He has worked in various industries with paid and voluntary contribution to projects of inclusion for the disabled and the disadvantaged
Jeff Galvin
Jeff Galvin has had personal experience of mental illness for over 25 years. Jeff currently works for SoFA as a peer educator of the HOPE program and has presented on mental health and employment as part of SoFA’s advocacy work and training.
Arna Meldrum-Knight
I have 33 years experience living with mental illness and am passionate about working with people in the HOPE program. I am also a visual artist and work with collage, painting & installation.

I have 30 years experience living with a mental illness. I am passionate about all peoples access to employment, and enjoy this work as it empowers people to take positive care of their health
Nadia
My name is Nadia. I am 32 years old and diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I currently work as a Peer Educator for SOFA and as a Consumer Consultant in public mental health services. My studies at La Trobe University have been in nursing and I completed honours in Health Sciences majoring in public health in 2006. I have a strong passion for working in mental health and creating change to benefit individuals experiencing mental illness in the community. I value recovery and strive to work towards acceptance and gaining insight for wellness and ongoing mental health.
Don Foster
I have a background with a wide range of industries that will enable me to help people preparing for the workforce, understanding the hurdles experienced and helping people gain confidence during this time
Bronwyn
I am a married, qualified, social welfare worker and peer educator, and also a carer for a partially disabled friend, and also a very lovely dog, named Miss Mousie. My interests are reading, writing, socialising and music (I play the ukulele, penny whistles, recorders and piano) and my sporting and spiritual interests are yoga, bushwalking, swimming, cycling, kayaking and long walks/jogs with my dog and other dogs I look after.

Having worked as a nurse in public and private hospitals for many years, it is a pleasure to work for an organisation with such enlightened attitudes to mental health and associated issues.
